This news begins on a sad note, spammers using MailCatch to spam...
They were registering the email address of poor people in the forwarding feature to have them spammed BY mailcatch!

Obviously this is against all that MailCatch stands for and I promptly deleted all forwards that looked dubious.
To prevent this from happening again too much the forwarding feature will be now only be available to "premium accounts".
For a nominal fee (2€/month) you can subscribe and use the forwardings as usual, without restrictions. (Obviously if I find you trying to abuse it your account is going to be closed real fast).
It does annoy me to have to do that but this seems to be my most safe alternative, because it will deter "script kiddies" and by paying I get the customer name/... so I can point the authorities to him should I need to.

However because I still felt bad for doing it, there is an added bonus to the premium accounts: POP3 access!
Now you can access any MailCatch inbox from your email client.
And if you are real nice a new bonus will come out in a few weeks, the ability to reply!

Oh and everybody that will contribute a domain to MailCatch (see the previous post) will be granted a free premium account to thank them.
